Why Story?
The Paradigm Shift
Why do stories matter to you? They don't, unless you want to influence someone else. Stories are a powerful tool of persuasion. Whether you're a speaker wanting to impact from a platform, a sales person wanting to close the deal, a manager in charge of inspiring your team, a politician trying to get people to embrace your vision, a blogger wanting to build a community, or a mom trying to get through to your teenager - story is your secret weapon. When it comes to connecting with your listener, story does what content can not. Facts and information are clinical and do not connect, but rather have a pushing action. Story connects on an emotional level and therefore has a pulling action. Your success at impacting others is in direct correlation to your ability to find, write, tell, and market compelling stories.

- How to use them

- Why to use them
